The National Botanic Garden of Wales

The National Botanic Garden of Wales is the first national botanic garden to be created in the new millennium. In such a short time period, it has been developed into one of the most fascinating gardens in the UK. Already they have the most visited garden in Wales and are helping to conserve some of the rarest plants in the world.

  Aberglasney House & Gardens

Spectacularly set in the beautiful Tywi valley of Carmarthenshire, Aberglasney House features one of the finest gardens in Wales. Aberglasney Gardens have been an inspiration to poets since 1477. The story of Aberglasney spans many centuries, but, the house's origins are still shrouded in obscurity.

Tenby

In 2006, Tenby boasted three Blue Flag awards for its clean beaches and Pembrokeshire had 11 Blue flag beaches making it one of the cleanest holiday destinations in Wales and the U.K. As Pembrokeshire’s main holiday resort, Tenby maintains a high standard for it's beaches, offering plenty of facilities and boasting various environmental awards.

Llansteffan

The village of Llansteffan ("the church of Stephen") is a small but lovely spot, nestled between the sandy shores of the Tywi estuary and the lush green rolling hills of the Welsh countryside. In some respects, it is an unexpected oasis along the coast in West Wales. Located just 8 miles southwest of Carmarthen, the most remarkable monument in the village is its magnificently ruined castle.

Laugharne

Laugharne is an ancient township steeped in history situated on the estuary of the River Taf. What was once a port is now a paradise for writers, artists, walkers, sailors, fishermen and bird watchers. Approaching Laugharne on the St Clears road there is an impressive view of the township nestling in a valley, with the estuary and Carmarthen Bay in the distance. Laugharne has a mixture of small cottages and large Georgian houses.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

This is Britain's only truly coastal national park. It's a spectacular landscape of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, wooded estuaries and wild inland hills, and a place of sanctuary for wildlife.
